Getting a Kerala PSC signature to 150 x 100 and 30 KB

Kerala PSC's One Time Registration instructions ask for the signature image at 150 x 100 pixels and no more than 30 KB, as a JPEG. It goes into your profile with the photo, and is used for every post you apply for.

This page crops the signature to 150 x 100 pixels where you place the crop box and saves it at the best quality under 30 KB.

Tips

  • Sign with a dark pen on plain white paper, and photograph or scan it in good light.
  • Take the photo close around the signature, then drag the crop box so it keeps all of it.
  • Each notification can set its own rules. If yours states a different size, change it under Change size or pixels before you compress.

Requirements from Kerala PSC's One Time Registration instructions, checked 19 October 2026. Forms change their rules, so check the form itself if something is rejected.

How it works

Questions

Is it free?

Yes. There is no sign-up and no watermark.

What happens to my file?

It is processed on our server and deleted automatically: the original 5 minutes after the run finishes, the compressed file after 10. A file you upload but never compress is deleted within 30 minutes. You can also delete everything right away with Delete now.

Will it look worse?

We try a lossless cleanup first, which does not change how the file looks. Only if that is not enough do we lower image quality, and we pick the gentlest setting that still fits your size.

What if my file cannot get that small?

You get the smallest version we could make and a clear note saying so, instead of a file that silently misses the limit.

Why is my file a little under the limit I picked?

Some sites count a kilobyte as 1000 bytes and others as 1024. We aim under the stricter one, so a 200 KB page aims for 200,000 bytes and the file passes either way.
