By using FitFileSize you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose.

The service

FitFileSize is a free tool that compresses PDFs and images to fit under a size you choose. It is provided as is, without any warranty. We do our best, but we cannot promise that every file will reach your target, that the result will be accepted by the site you upload it to, or that the service will always be available.

Your files

You keep all rights to what you upload. You must have the right to upload it, and you must not use FitFileSize for anything illegal. Keep your own copy of the original: we delete files on the schedule in the privacy page and cannot recover them.

Fair use

Each visitor can upload up to 30 files and run up to 100 compressions an hour. Do not try to get around those limits or overload the service, for example with automated bulk uploads. We may block traffic that does.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of the service, including a rejected upload, a missed deadline, or a lost file.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Questions: open an issue on GitHub.
